Job Description

As the premier rehabilitation and nursing provider in Gainesville, we strive to maintain a patient to staff ratio that allows you to spend time with your patients and learn about them. Position Overview Responsible for the creation and maintenance of daily, weekly and monthly staffing schedules for the nursing department in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Basic Qualifications Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in current state of practice.
Skills & Requirements:
Must possess the ability to read, write and speak the English language; must have strong communication skills; must be patient, friendly, courteous and respectful to residents in any situation, including difficult ones; must be able to make independent decisions when necessary; must have the ability to follow staffing/scheduling guidelines as outlined by the facility and other regulations governing staffing in a long-term care facility; must be able to move frequently throughout the workday; must be able to lift 20 lbs floor to waist; lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder; lift and carry 20 lbs; and push/pull 20 lbs.
Experience:
Strong computer skills and prior experience in staffing/scheduling is required; long-term care experience is preferred.
