Position:

The incumbent will serve as a Cyber Operations Specialist (Targeteer) for USSOUTHCOM, Operations Directorate, Information Operations Division in Miami, FL.

Specialized Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Provide situational awareness regarding the threats impacting network systems to ensure safety protocols are executed; 2. Conduct operational analysis of threats to rapidly respond in crisis/support of contingency operations; and 3. Ensure sufficient manpower and technical resources are available to respond to requirements in a timely and efficient manner. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
