Location Downtown Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 64299.44 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 113192.60 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Math, Statistics, Transportation Planning or other related field. Additional experience in transit scheduling or transportation planning may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Four years of experience in transit scheduling for a medium to large transportation system. Proof of education and work experience to meet minimum qualifications must be presented and will be verified. Recruitment Notes We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Transit Scheduler to join our Scheduling Team here in Miami. Since the launch of our Better Bus Network last November, we've created the foundation of a sustainable high-frequency network, with ridership on the rise. As we upgrade our scheduling software and increase the capacity of the Scheduling Department, we are looking for someone to join us in moving Miami-Dade to the next level. This position is for Senior Transit Operations Scheduler reporting to the Manager of Scheduling. This position collaborates with Operations and Service Planning Staff to develop and adjust existing bus and rail schedules. Experience using advanced computerized scheduling software is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of run cutting experience developing bus and rail operator schedules which define the workday for DTPW operators. This position is critical to our daily riders to increase accessibility across Miami-Dade County.
