Job Description
Summary:
Assign work to employees, setting priority per production schedule. Track efficiency and quality metrics of group members. Motivate, train and lead employees in accordance with Compulink's policies and procedures. Ability to work independently. processed within the acceptable order cycle time parameters. Inform and assist the Master scheduler and Director of Manufacturing in resolving production conflictsQualifications:

- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to work flexible schedule when needed.
- Demonstrate professionalism.
- Review and facilitate changes as necessary to associated documentation
- Knowledge of ESD precautions, crimp technology, solder, and workmanship standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; Word and Excel, computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills required
- Strong auditing and investigative traits are required to support audit as needed.
- Able to operate with a sense of urgency and accountability
- Train group leaders, inspectors and auditors on new products and processes
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop procedures and train employees on transaction procedures and proper material handling.- Maintain a clean, safe and injury free environment by ensuring safety procedures are understood and executed by all employees.
- Adherence to all company procedures
- Function as a participating team member
- Set up work assignments to ensure efficient flow
- Delegate work to the team in order to meet customer deadlines
- Identify and correct potential problems
- Notify Quality Manager if assistance from other groups is needed
- Escalate any issues that conflict with Manufacturing's ability to ship a quality product on time. Keep the Production staff informed of changes and conflicts; make recommendations to avoid issues that will result in customer problems.
- Work with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met and commitments are kept. This should be accomplished through discussion with any department head that is necessary e.g Cut, Kitting, OEM Production, Documentation, ETC.
- Support the Production team by informing them of status of their orders including, changes in ship via, partial shipments, material problems, ETC.
- Escalate critical issues to the Master scheduler and or CSR.
- Maintain positive relationship with all departments and negotiate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in employee appraisal.
- Address complaints and assist in resolving issues
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Cross train employees
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry 35 pounds (with assistance, if necessary)
- Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking
- Accurate color and depth perception.
- Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fractions of an inch
