Job Description

Scheduling Specialist Position Summary The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing project schedules, including roughs, trims, underground work, and tugs. This role ensures timely scheduling, rescheduling, and communication with builders, inspectors, and internal teams to maintain efficient project flow. Key Responsibilities Schedule all rough and trim work using ComputerEase for field execution Coordinate and reschedule underground work and tugs as needed Utilize SupplyPro to schedule jobs and communicate updates with builders Maintain and update the master schedule, notifying relevant teams and clients of any changes or delays Schedule inspections, including underslab, roughs, tugs, and pre-power (as required by county) Process failed inspection fees and maintain documentation of inspection results Track inspection outcomes (pass/fail) using Excel and shared logs for subdivisions Communicate with county offices to resolve issues impacting inspection scheduling (e.g., permit linkage or documentation requirements) Monitor job site status through various builder platforms Provide coverage for other locations as needed Perform additional administrative and scheduling duties as assigned Required Skills & Abilities High level of reliability and integrity Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to learn and navigate systems such as ComputerEase and SupplyPro Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Effective time management and multitasking abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong teamwork mindset with willingness to learn and adapt
