Job Description
Scheduling Coordinator (Part-Time) Pelican Therapy Partners is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Scheduling Coordinator to join our pediatric therapy team. This position is responsible for coordinating patient schedules, managing therapist calendars, maintaining waitlists, and helping ensure children and families receive the services they need. The ideal candidate enjoys organization, problem-solving, and working with people in a fast-paced environment. •This position may be an excellent fit for parents with school-aged children, retired professionals, or individuals seeking flexible daytime work in a supportive environment.•Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate therapy appointments Manage therapist schedules and appointment availability Fill cancellations and open appointment slots Maintain patient waitlists Communicate with families regarding appointments and scheduling changes Assist with new patient scheduling and intake coordination Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails professionally Maintain accurate patient information within our electronic medical record system Collaborate with therapists and clinic leadership to support daily operations Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Comfortable learning and using technology and scheduling software Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems Previous administrative, scheduling, customer service, or office experience preferred Position Details Part-time position (approximately 15-25 hours per week) Flexible daytime schedule No evenings or weekends required Why Join Our Team?
