Your impact Jacobs is seeking a Scheduler to join our team in the Atlanta, GA area. In this role you will be responsible for preparing time related information, documents and reports, and for the verification of contractor schedules for assigned construction contracts. Maintain an operating awareness of all contract issues and ATLNext participants. Clearly identify the critical path on project schedules and prepare weekly/monthly reports on the critical activities and contractual milestones. Collect accurate schedule data from the contractors/other project schedules and prepare Management, Project and Control level schedules for senior management. Maintain and update the schedules and report on performance against the plan. Identify issues, conflicts and potential impacts and recommend alternative schedule solutions in association with the management team, to resolve schedule problems and conflicts. Review and assess contractors' schedules for compliance with contract milestones and constraints. Perform field verification of schedule information. Attend project meetings and advise the Area Construction Manager (ACM) / Resident Engineer (RE) / Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) of any potential issues or impacts prior to project meetings. When required, assist contractors in developing, revising, and finalizing their detail schedule to be in compliance with the contract documents. Assist in the evaluation of potential time impact of contract change orders. Other tasks as may be assigned Here's what you'll need Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction and scheduling, preferably on large-scale design-procurement-construction projects. University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proficient PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook). Working knowledge of Primavera P6. Working knowledge of PMWeb or other Project Controls Software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Excellent priority management and time management skills. Sound judgment, reasoning, and analytical skills. Ability to quickly understand construction principles as well as contractors' means and methods. Ability to self-start and work without close supervision, understanding what needs to be done and taking the required actions to complete the urgent tasks

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
