Job Description

About the Role As a Safety Operations Coordinator, you will serve as a vital partner in fostering a secure and compliant workplace by supporting core environmental, health, and safety initiatives. You will bridge the gap between administrative oversight and active floor engagement, ensuring that safety standards are not only met but integrated into daily operations. Responsibilities Facilitate daily safety programs and environmental compliance efforts across the facility. Perform regular floor walkthroughs to actively monitor work practices and identify potential safety risks. Execute routine safety inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards. Support the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and assist in thorough incident investigations to drive corrective actions. Coordinate safety training sessions and onboarding orientations to build a culture of awareness. Maintain precise documentation, compliance reports, and safety records to ensure audit readiness. Champion PPE compliance and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance overall site safety. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple safety tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Preferred Skills 1-2 years of experience within a manufacturing or industrial safety environment. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessment methodologies. OSHA 10 certification or a strong willingness to earn the credential. Experience with incident tracking and corrective action documentation.
