Job Description

Job Summary The Operations & Technology Support Coordinator provides operational, administrative, and technology support for the Vice President of Instruction and all academic areas for the College. The position assists with coordinating instructional processes, maintaining documentation and records, and supporting the administration of academic technology systems used for syllabus management, academic scheduling, and course evaluation. This role works with faculty, instructional leadership, and administrative staff to support the effective operation of instructional systems and processes across all academic divisions.
Supervisor Responsibilities:

Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats, tailored to diverse audiences and contexts. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to FERPA and institutional policies. Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proficient in software systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment; comfortable learning new technologies as needed. Provide exceptional support and assistance to students, staff, and community members with empathy and professionalism. Respond positively to change and adapt to new policies, procedures, and technologies. Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong sense of initiative. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in administration, office support, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience providing administrative, operational, or technical support in an office or higher education setting. Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn and use technology systems efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting academic programs or instructional operations in a higher education setting. Experience with academic technology systems, syllabus management, scheduling, or course evaluation tools. Ability to troubleshoot and assist others with software or workflow issues. Physical Demands Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25 pounds with proper equipment; reasonable accommodations available. Light physical activity required; must be able to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, and communicate effectively in various formats. Primarily daytime hours with some evening and weekends to support College events and initiatives. Assist faculty and staff with basic system navigation, data entry, and troubleshooting related to instructional systems. Provide administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Instruction, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining records. Assist with coordination of meetings, committees, and documentation, including preparing agendas and recording minutes as needed. Help coordinate process documentation and updates within institutional systems. Help all academic areas of the College adhere to course scheduling timelines and assist with related system processes. Support the administration of course evaluations and assist with compiling and distributing reports. Maintain documentation, guides, and internal procedures related to instructional technology tools and workflows. Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for instructional planning and operational needs. Serve as a point of contact for routine questions related to instructional processes and technology systems. Perform other related duties as assigned to support instructional operations.
