YOUR DAY AS A DISPATCHER/SCHEDULER
As a Full-Time Dispatcher/Scheduler at South Central Illinois Mass Transit in Centralia, you will be integral to our operations by assigning and scheduling vehicles and drivers for efficient passenger transportation. Your role will involve performing essential clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and basic mathematical calculations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also be the friendly voice on the phone, assisting clients with general information and their scheduling needs. Keeping client information accurate and up-to-date will be key, as you will confer with clients to resolve issues related to missing, misrouted, or delayed routes.
