Oak Brook, IL Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are a market research firm located in Oak Brook, IL, specializing in foodservice. We operate a restaurant-style kitchen as part of our research center that features taste testing and other types of industry research. We are looking for a kitchen and facility operations assistant who will help manage the smooth flow of projects. This role reports to the Research Operations Manager and is responsible for: Organization and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food prep dishes/tools Staging kitchen for projects including equipment (some heavy lifting required) Receiving pantry/food items and maintaining inventory lists Supporting execution of taste tests and other research designs Requirements include: High school degree Back of house restaurant kitchen experience a plus Live within 30 minutes of Oak Brook, with access to personal car Available for flexible hours M-F, part-time. Commit to 15 hours per week, with opportunity for expanded hours up to 30 depending on project flow Preference for a candidate very familiar with foodservice kitchens. Culinary/cooking skills a plus. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Casual environment, fun opportunity to work with food and professional chef talent!
