This pivotal role involves managing the staffing process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, with a particular focus on ensuring appropriate nursing staff levels within our facility. Responsibilities Complete nursing department schedule Ensure proper nursing staffing levels to meet facility needs Ensure required RN coverage is met Coordinate nursing department specific orientation for new employees Create and post daily staffing sheets Retain staffing sheets, schedules, and other documents as required Participate in nursing administration call rotation Central Supply Ordering Relay department training needs to Director of Nursing Assist nursing floor staff as needed Any other duties as assigned by supervisor Experience & Qualifications QMA license/certification required. Previous experience in staffing/scheduling Essential Functions Complete and maintain the nursing department schedule. Ensure proper RN coverage and nursing staff levels to meet facility needs. Retain required staffing sheets, schedules, and other documents.
