Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Planner/Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Materials Manager, this role is responsible for leading production planning, demand alignment, and scheduling activities to ensure optimal service levels, inventory performance, and operational efficiency. This position plays a critical role in driving on-time delivery, optimizing inventory, and supporting cross-functional alignment across operations, commercial, and product development teams. Responsibilities Lead and optimize master production planning and scheduling processes to hit target metrics, including schedule adherence, operational efficiency, and 100% on-time delivery (OTD). Drive the effective utilization, continuous improvement, and precise maintenance of ERP/MRP system parameters to ensure ordering data precisely reflects current demand patterns. Partner directly with Sales, Commercial, Procurement and Production teams to manage demand planning and forecast accuracy and represent the planning function to ensure seamless material readiness for product production. Assist with purchasing, tracking on-time deliveries of all purchased materials and outside services. Assist with purchasing critical components for machine maintenance and MRO type items. Education & Experience 3+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling; 3 to 5 years of related background in a manufacturing environment. Core Competencies & Systems Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate to all levels of the organization, proven problem-solving ability, and the capacity to act as a change agent to drive process improvements. Microsoft Office applications. SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics or similar planning software.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
