Job Description

Summary:
The Operations Liaison serves as the primary point of contact between Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) Operations and the contract manufacturer, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange. In this role, you will collaborate closely with CCT's EcoFlex Planner, Client Service Representatives, Quality Liaison, and Buyers, as well as the manufacturer's operations team. Your main focus is to provide the direction needed to guarantee on-time delivery of high-quality products to CCT customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide contract manufacturer with daily, weekly and current year forecasted requirements for refurbished shippers and PCM.
  • Populate Epicor with accurate 'Ship by' dates so Daily Order Management (DOM) dashboard reflects commitments.
  • Participate in daily DOM meetings and communicate any challenges or feedback to Planning and Client Servies related to all open orders.
  • Coordinate with CCT Shipping and Planning all transfers of raw material from CCT to contract manufacturer required to support contract manufacturer's production schedule.
  • Responsible to manage CCT owned inventory, including implementation of inventory management strategy (i.e. kanbans, etc.), as well as completing periodic cycle counts in line with CCT's cycle count program.
  • Coordinate with CCT Shipping and Planning all transfers of cores from CCT to Contract Manufacturer required to support contract manufacturer's production schedule.
  • Coordinate with CCT Shipping and Planning all transfers from contract manufacturer to CCT of any cores requiring scrap or rebuild.
  • Coordinate with CCT Freight Team for pick-up and delivery of all outbound (from contract manufacturer) shipments to customer sites.
  • Serve as Change Manager for any CCT product or CCT process changes that require implementation at contract manufacturer.
  • Primary point of contact for any operations questions or concerns the contract manufacturer has related to CCT product/processes
  • Follow all company safety guidelines.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Special Requirements (License, Permit, Certification, Physical Limitations, etc…):
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or technical field; preferably Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of applicable manufacturing experience
  • Ability to build relationships, convey information clearly and handle complex issues.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions between teams internally and contract manufacturer to reach mutually beneficial outcomes. Ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Strong organizational skills: managing multiple tasks, deadlines and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable evaluating operational processes and recommending improvements.
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001, or similarly regulated, environment
  • Ability to utilize MS Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with a computerized ERP production control system
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Occasional travel as business needs demand
