We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations Specialist to join our team and play a key role in supporting the daily operations that keep our bank running smoothly. What You'll Do As an Operations Specialist, you will support a wide variety of deposit and cash management functions while serving both internal and external customers. Team members are cross-trained across responsibilities, creating opportunities to learn and grow within bank operations.
Responsibilities include:
Monitors and supports all aspects of the bank's electronic banking delivery channels, products, and services. Processing customer account requests such as stop payments, account maintenance, transfers, check orders, and account closures Supporting ACH processing activities, including importing and exporting ACH origination files and maintaining ACH records Assisting with wire transfers, fraud prevention tools, remote deposit capture, and other cash management services Reviewing daily reports and transactions for accuracy and compliance Investigating unusual account or check activity and assisting with fraud-related items Verifying documentation for new accounts to ensure compliance with banking regulations and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements Scanning and indexing account documentation into electronic systems Providing timely, professional support for customer and employee inquiries Assisting with operational processes that support the bank's daily service and compliance functions What We're Looking For Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of experience in a financial institution preferred Experience with ACH processing or balancing is a plus Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Comfortable learning and using banking software and technology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Why Join Citizens Bank?
