Senior Planner

Job Summary Vicor is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the team in Andover, MA. The Senior Planner will work closely across purchasing, production and engineering to efficiently coordinate the movement of materials to meet production schedules. Job Description Using the Company's MRP/ERP system, execute complex work plans and schedules with new or variable material and capacity requirements. Support customer requirements within the current build plan. Monitor the movement of assemblies through the production cycle. Coordinate the efficient movement of material with purchasing, production and engineering. Responsible for performing a variety of routing, dispatching and expediting duties necessary to meet production schedules Interact effectively with production, sales and engineering through status and/or exception reporting. Develop written production schedules for Manufacturing. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques Participate on cross-functional improvement teams. $82,000 - $110,000 Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.
