Job Description

Our client is looking for a Material Coordinator. This role is with a large, innovative pharmaceutical company dedicated to producing life-saving medicines. You will play a vital role in coordinating the movement and storage of materials, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate inventory systems. In this position, you will support the company's mission by overseeing material flow, managing hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and ensuring regulatory adherence across domestic and international shipments. In this role, you will: Coordinate the flow of materials, stock, and equipment in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Monitor and update inventory control systems, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Manage storage conditions for hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including maintaining proper storage environments. Oversee periodic physical inventories and ensure timely stock replenishment. Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management for raw materials, finished goods, and hazardous waste in accordance with SOPs. Ensure all shipments, including international and controlled substances, meet regulatory and safety standards. Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize material handling, distribution, and documentation processes.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
High School Diploma with 4-6 years of experience handling hazardous materials and shipping, both domestic and international, preferably within a pharmaceutical or chemical environment. Working knowledge of electronic material control systems, financial, and purchasing software. Experience in a production environment in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently.
