Job Description

Seaman Paper, headquartered in Leominster, Massachusetts, is a leading global manufacturer of environmentally sustainable specialty paper and packaging solutions. The family-owned company has been making paper in Massachusetts since 1946. Over the last decade, Seaman Paper has grown domestic and global manufacturing operations to meet the needs of their customers worldwide. The company's paper-based, sustainable solutions help customers protect what is most important to them. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Scheduler to support our Retail Packaging and Food Service divisions. This role is responsible for analyzing customer demand, scheduling production and equipment, creating work orders, and coordinating shipping priorities to ensure on-time delivery. The Production Scheduler will also maintain and update master data files and collaborate closely with internal teams to meet customer and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer demand to support production planning and order fulfillment. Source components and schedule equipment to meet order requirements for the Retail Packaging and Food Service divisions. Create and release work orders for manufacturing plants in accordance with customer specifications. Direct shipping teams on prioritization of ready-to-ship orders to facilitate on-time delivery. Maintain and update master data files to ensure accuracy across systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and production constraints. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and data accuracy. Qualifications Strong analytical skills. High attention to detail and a strong level of accuracy. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Experience:
Experience in supply chain, master data management, or operations is a plus.
Work Authorization:
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
