Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Schedule:

$25.00•$30.00/hr., based on experience.Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Livestock Operations Coordinator to support daily operations at a small-scale feedlot facility. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records and supporting decision-making related to herd health, feeding programs, and overall production performance. The Livestock Operations Coordinator will be responsible for tracking cattle movement, health treatments, feed data, and performance metrics while ensuring all records are accurate and up to date. Employee will work closely with farm management, nutritionists, and veterinarians to ensure that data aligns with daily operations. Ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with standard office equipment, and interested in agricultural operations.Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing cattle, including tag tracking (EID), weights, and ownership details. Enter and manage daily data within feedlot management systems, including intake, shipping, health treatments, and feed records. Track and report animal health treatments to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. Generate reports on performance metrics such as average daily gain (ADG), feed conversion, and cost of gain. Monitor feed delivery data and bunk readings to support ration adjustments and feeding efficiency. Communicate with management, nutritionists, and veterinarians to ensure data reflects on-site conditions. Perform routine audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all records. Assist with general operational coordination and additional tasks as needed.Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education required. Basic understanding of livestock operations, cattle health, or agricultural practices preferred. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn and use specialized feedlot or agricultural software. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Primarily office-based, with regular time spent in feedlot areas to verify data and observe operations. Ability to lift/move up to 25•50 lbs.
