Munro Defense About Munro Defense Munro Defense supports government and defense customers by delivering technically advanced, mission-critical solutions. We work at the intersection of engineering excellence, government contracting, and operational execution, partnering closely with federal stakeholders to deliver value, compliance, and performance. As a Project Scheduler , you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project timelines and deliverables. Working closely with project managers and technical staff, you will use your expertise in Primavera P6 Professional project management software to develop, update, and maintain project schedules. Your responsibilities will include creating bar charts or Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, tracking project progress, and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update integrated master schedules (IMS) in Primavera for large government contracts. Develop resource and cost-loaded schedules with detailed lists of activities and critical project deliverables. Lead project schedule development by collaborating with project teams to construct project schedules efficiently. Participate actively in all phases of the project planning, including creating contract, procurement, baseline, and track schedules. Formulate schedule logic, constraints, and realistic activity durations. Perform confidential work with a high degree of integrity. Leverage historical data for accurate future planning and forecasting. Conduct regular project reviews to assess job status and apply project sequencing knowledge for accurate scheduling. Provide schedules for contracts, bid documents, and subcontractors, including cost/resource loading when required. Identify and effectively communicate schedule challenges, risks, and conflicts to stakeholders. Innovate best practices and routines to enhance project scheduling processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s Degree or higher in construction management or related field. Must be proficient in Primavera (P6) Software. Proficiency in Time Impact Analysis processes and procedures. Solid understanding and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power BI products. Comprehensive experience managing complex project schedules. Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
10+ years of combined technical and project-based experience. Military or defense industry experience preferred. Familiarity with DoD Systems Engineering and other related discipline.
Special Requirements:
Ability to obtain a security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen due to direct work on government contracts.
