Priority maintains a diversified business model providing service to both municipal solid-waste, construction & demolition customers. Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology. Job Purpose In your role as customer service representative, you will engage with our residential and commercial customers and deliver prompt and courteous service at all times. You will be the on the front-lines of the customer experience solving problems, providing information, and directing calls to correct internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Answers 200-300+ phone calls daily. Handles in-bound sales calls, online orders, and customer inquiries. Engages with clients in a friendly, eager, and professional manner while actively listening and troubleshooting their concerns. Offers support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies. Inputs orders into database, ensuring accuracy and abiding by pricing guidelines. Detail-oriented administrative and clerical tasks, including, but not limited to, collecting payment from customers, filing, scanning, etc. Collaborates with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies Other duties as assigned Candidate Profile The successful candidate profile includes: Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and multi-line phone systems. Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a high-volume call center environment is strongly preferred. Willingness to travel to and work onsite at our Clinton Township, MI corporate office. Ability to engage positively and enthusiastically with different types of customers. Must be able to stay calm under pressure and possess a solution-focused mindset. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Prioritizes and manages time while performing multiple detail-oriented tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to work with limited direction individual and also collaborate with other teams internally.
