Job Description
Works closely with Production Planners on order releases action and exception messages from the company system.
Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements and makes suggestions to optimize efficiencies.
Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department, and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
Analyzes and resolves scheduling issues impacting production.
Responsible for materials systems management and dissemination of production scheduling data to ensure the effective execution of daily manufacturing plans.
Incorporates process improvement methods and techniques involved in lean manufacturing as it relates to scheduling functions.
Implements and drives continuous improvement activities through the application of change management and best practices.
Ensures collaboration and coordination between relevant departments/plants including sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Skills RequirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Educational RequirementsAssociate's degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Supply chain certification (CSCP, CPSM, etc.) preferred.
Experience RequirementsThree years of experience in the supply chain field.
