Summary:
This position supports shop floor continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, system optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing operational data to drive actionable insights and measurable improvements across the organization. This role partners closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to enhance efficiency, ensure audit readiness, and support compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret shop floor data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and SharePoint Provide actionable insights to leadership to support data-driven decision-making Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including ECRS and 3R5S methodologies Identify process improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions Track, measure, and report on continuous improvement activities and results Maintain and optimize digital platforms supporting shop floor operations Train employees on system usage across production and office environments Support system launches, enhancements, and ongoing user engagement Support Layered Process Audits (LPA) and internal audit activities Participate in shop floor audits to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and quality standards Collaborate with Quality and external stakeholders to support successful customer audits Ensure alignment with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Partner with production, quality, and leadership teams to drive improvement initiatives Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates clearly and effectively Support meetings with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders as needed Provide on-call support as required Support special projects, system development, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or related field required (or equivalent experience) Master s degree preferred Experience 5-7+ years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or data analytics Experience in battery manufacturing or similar industry preferred Experience building dashboards, reports, or digital systems required Experience delivering training or facilitating workshops preferred Skills Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills Advanced in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams) Ability to translate data into actionable insights Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred Ability to travel up to 40% Ability to work on the production floor (standing/walking as needed) LG Energy Solution is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
