About Us Right at Home Southwest Michigan is a trusted in-home care agency dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Southwest Michigan. We provide compassionate, dependable care that allows clients to remain safe and comfortable in their homes. We are growing and looking for a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Client Scheduling Coordinator to join our office team. Position Summary The Client Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality care by coordinating caregiver schedules, managing shift coverage, and maintaining clear communication with clients, caregivers, and office staff. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has strong customer service and scheduling skills. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules for client shifts Match caregivers with clients based on availability, skills, and compatibility Fill open shifts and respond to last-minute scheduling changes Communicate professionally with caregivers, clients, and family members Monitor attendance, call-offs, and schedule adjustments Maintain accurate scheduling records and client information Support onboarding coordination and caregiver availability tracking Assist with after-hours/on-call scheduling support as needed Work closely with care coordinators and leadership to ensure continuity of care Help maintain compliance with agency policies and care requirements Qualifications Previous scheduling, staffing, healthcare coordination, or customer service experience preferred Experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and phone skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly Proficient with computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office High attention to detail and reliability Compassionate and team-oriented mindset Preferred Skills Experience with caregiver scheduling software Knowledge of healthcare or home care operations Ability to prioritize urgent staffing needs Strong relationship-building skills with caregivers and clients
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
