This role is expected to track and use the capacity of each of those teams to ensure timely completion of jobs and supply relevant information to facilitate execution against the production schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Publish the production schedule and release work orders to production departments Facilitate the Daily Planning Meeting Review parts availability for upcoming jobs and highlight issues to be addressed by materials planning Use available capacity to release new work for FMS and recommend outsourcing when needed Monitor order backlogs and adjust weekly assembly volumes to deliver 99% of orders within 4 weeks or by the customer-requested date Work with Sales and Product Management to develop a finished goods stocking strategy Work with FMS/Paint Supervisor to develop an improved FMS scheduling process Coordinate delivery of materials stored off-site for use by Assembly when needed Advance our capabilities to measure planned versus actual production Retain records of cut lists, paint line reports, FMS reports, and supporting documents Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Able to work collaboratively with many departments and individuals at all levels on shared responsibilities Good verbal and written communication skills Broad understanding of supply chain systems and processes Proficient computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Highly motivated and self-starter Strong customer focus Excellent problem-solving skill
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and applicable experience will be considered. 2-3 years of experience in scheduling, production, purchasing, supply chain, or related field. Experience with ERP systems preferred
