Job Description

This is a full time position with hours to be determinded. Try to schedule the appointment to a time/date that best fits the patient's needs. Remind the patient which office their appointment will be located. Provide directions, if necessary. Evenly distribute appointments between all Providers. Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner, giving accurate information.
Experience and Education:
Minimum:
Graduate from high school preferred. Recent clinic or medical office experience. Needs strong computer skills, can work in multiple computer operating systems, strong telephone operator skills and ability to multitask. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required Personal technology device to download application to enable access to hospital email by multi-factor authentication. Works carefully and precisely without creating unnecessary errors. Pays close attention to details. Completes necessary documents according to Hospital and departmental policy. Evaluates and follows-up on services provided. Provides necessary services to those customers with whom the hospital serves. Displays sensitivity to needs of customers. Displays polite behavior to customers. Demonstrates positive relations in dealing with customers. Speaks in a positive, professional manner about customers and the Family Care Clinics. Responds promptly to customers' requests and needs in a timely fashion. Displays good organizational skills and utilizes time wisely. Maintains a neat and orderly work environment. Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner. Seeks additional work upon completion of assignments. Demonstrates good communication skills and empathy. Willingly shares information and resources with co-workers. Takes the time to explain and exchange information with customers. Maintains composure under stress and continues to work effectively. Promotes teamwork by working with other employees and departments to coordinate services. Assesses each situation before taking action. Seeks assistance/guidance when necessary. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
