Job Description

Position Summary:
Operate or tend sewing machines to sew/adhere emblems onto garments.
Essential Functions:
Carefully reviews paper work for daily orders that include details such as quantity, colors, emblem logo, shape and size Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components. Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides. Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew labels into garment. Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goal is met. Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Must have the ability to work closely with other people. Must have basic computer knowledge. Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude. The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. Detail oriented Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
