Summary:
Perform various administrative, operations and clerical duties to contribute to efficient and effective operations of the Margin Department.Qualifications:
- High School diploma or comparable work experience
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to operate a PC, telephone, copier, and scanner
- Familiar with the back-office computer system
- Basic math skills and knowledge of general accounting principles
- Strong human relation skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities
- Familiar with the office staff and organizational structure
- Ability to work in a computerized work environment
- Working knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, and ability and willingness to follow them
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, including managing multiple demands and competing priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Ability to communicate in a clear and service-oriented manner; using appropriate, professional language and grammar to effectively exchange ideas and information, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients, and to relate with others in a professional manner to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives
- Ability to maintain regular, reliable, in-person attendance on the job is a necessary and essential function
Duties:
- Process check requests from client accounts as requested. Review TRAX requests for accuracy and ensure proper paperwork and authorizations are on file.
- Process daily check deposits.
- Maintain daily cashiering file according to the Branch Standardization procedures.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Branch Guide to Operations and ensure adherence to all Branch, Firm and Compliance policies, procedures rules and regulations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of computer system screens and TRAX work flow.
- Assist other Associates, both within and outside the department, with tasks as needed and or assigned.
- Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary.
