Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Planner and Scheduler, where your expertise will drive the successful execution of complex electrical projects. In this vital role, you will develop detailed schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of electrical construction activities. Your proactive planning and scheduling skills will help streamline operations, optimize project timelines, and contribute to the overall success of our construction initiatives. Duties Develop comprehensive project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools to align with project milestones and deadlines. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish realistic timelines and resource allocations for electrical work packages. Utilize construction estimating tools and software like ProCore and Bluebeam to prepare accurate project scopes and schedules. Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential delays or conflicts, and adjust schedules proactively to maintain momentum. Collaborate closely with construction site teams to ensure scheduling aligns with on-the-ground activities, safety protocols, and contractual requirements. Track contract milestones and deliverables related to electrical components, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. Maintain detailed records of project timelines, changes, and updates for transparency and accountability in project management documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction scheduling with a focus on electrical or heavy civil projects; familiarity with Primavera P6 is essential. Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and general project scheduling tools. Hands-on experience with construction estimating and contract management processes. Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety standards, and electrical installation practices. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate clearly across teams and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
