Job Description

Its flexible solutions include repeaterless to ultra-long-haul, offshore oil and gas, scientific applications, and marine services. SubCom brings end-to-end network knowledge and global experience to support on-time delivery and meet the needs of customers worldwide. To date, the company has deployed over 200 networks
  • enough undersea cable to circle Earth more than 17 times at the equator.
Position Overview:
The role of Production Planner is to create schedules, release work orders, produce production reports and interface with Operations teams daily to drive results through the business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Strategic impact, knowledge, skills, and scope of responsibility: Creates and maintains daily / weekly / monthly production schedules. Generates and releases ERP (Oracle) work orders daily. Produces daily / weekly / quarterly / annual production reports. Provides direction to Operations team to drive results within the applicable department. Interfaces with Materials team to highlight production changes and discuss material risks. Highlights production concerns with Management and Master Planning to collaboratively drive issue to resolution. This position requires a high degree of integrity and the ability to drive for world-class product.
Qualifications:
5+ years manufacturing experience strongly required
  • equivalent education and experience will be considered. 3+ years Production Planning / Supply Chain Management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel is strongly recommended
  • MS Project is a plus.
Ability to drive teamwork in cross-functional disciplines with peers and Management. Ability to identify business risks and escalate with solutions as necessary. Proficiency and demonstrated ability to make independent, informed decisions. Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles recommended. Travel less than 10%
