Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Operations Assistant to support daily roofing operations. This position involves delivering of materials to job sites, preparing jobs for crews, driving dump trailers, assisting with equipment and supply organization and handling various tasks to help keep the business running efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, able to work independently and comfortable with physical work and driving as needed. A valid driver's license and strong work ethic is required. As well as a flexible schedule as we start early some mornings and work late. Responsibilities Deliver roofing materials, tools and supplies to job sites Prepare and organize job sites for roofing crews Drive dump trailers and assist with debris removal and dump runs Maintain an organized shop with tools and materials Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers as needed Assist with loading and unloading materials before and after jobs Perform general labor and miscellaneous business related tasks Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment Represent the company professionally with customers, suppliers and team members Skills Strong work ethic and reliability Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and stay organized Deals well with chaos well Safe driving skills with ability to tow and maneuver dump trailers Time management and ability to prioritize tasks Basic knowledge of construction, roofing and materials Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing job site needs Physical ability to climb ladders, lift materials, and work outdoors Attention to detail and job site safety awareness Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed Professional and respectful interactions with customers This role is a very important role in our company. We are seeking a motivated individual who is willing to put in the extra mile DAILY. Somebody that wants to be a part of a growing and successful company.
