Job Description
Production Operations & Systems Coordinator
BRIAN BROTHERS INC - 3.7
Carlstadt, NJ Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $82,000 a year 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Spreadsheets Calendar management Scripting System development Garment construction Product lifecycle management Full Job Description About the role Brian Brothers Inc. is the company behind Jordan Craig and See You In Paradise — a growing men's streetwear brand moving real volume across denim, knits, and seasonal collections. As we scale, so does the operational load: more styles, more factories, more data to keep clean and moving. We're hiring a Production Operations & Systems Coordinator to keep that engine running — and to make it run smarter. This is a support role at its core, but not a data-entry seat.
We want a builder:
someone who keeps production on track day to day, then looks at the manual, repetitive parts of the job and asks how to automate them. There's a lot here to test, streamline, and systemize, and the right person will own that. If you'd rather build the process than babysit a spreadsheet, this is for you. What you'll own Build and maintain the systems that keep production data accurate and current — POs, costs, specs, sample status, delivery dates — so the source of truth updates itself instead of relying on manual entry Own visibility from development through bulk: set up tracking that automatically surfaces who has the ball, what's late, and what's at risk, so nothing hides Automate the follow-up loop with factories and agents — chase updates, samples, and approvals through reminders and workflows you build, so the routine nudges happen without you typing each one, and your attention goes to the exceptions Keep the time-and-action calendar live and self-flagging, so slippage gets caught before it becomes a fire Systematize how QC reports, tech packs, and inspection evidence get logged and organized — consistent, searchable, and not dependent on memory Connect Shopify and our production systems so data flows and reconciles automatically instead of being re-keyed by hand The thread through all of it: you're not the person manually doing these tasks forever — you're the person who designs the system that does them, then owns the judgment calls and exceptions that automation can't handle. What makes this role different We're not hiring a faster data-entry clerk. We're hiring someone who treats manual work as a problem to be solved: You build spreadsheets and tools that update themselves, not ones you babysit You're genuinely fluent with AI tools and use them to draft, summarize, reconcile, and check your work You can connect systems and move data between them without needing IT for every step You document how things work so the next person isn't lost When you see the same task three times, you turn it into a repeatable process — or kill it entirely Over time, this role is a launch pad. As we move toward a full PLM system, the person who actually understands how our data and processes fit together will be central to that build. What we're looking for 1-3 years in production support, operations, merchandising admin, or a coordinator role — apparel a strong plus Genuinely strong with spreadsheets (lookups, pivots, conditional logic — ideally light scripting or no-code automation) Real fluency with AI tools — not "I've tried ChatGPT" but actually using them to get more done Obsessively organized; you'd rather build a system than rely on memory Clear communicator who can hold a factory accountable — politely, but firmly Bias to ship: you'd rather get something useful done today than plan the perfect version for next month Nice to have Experience with Shopify, an ERP, or a PLM Familiarity with apparel construction, fabrics, or QC A track record of automating something that used to be done by hand How to apply Send your resume and a short note. We especially want one specific example : a manual or repetitive process you automated or streamlined — what it was, what you did, and what it saved. That tells us more than a list of past titles.
