Marketplace Operations Specialist Location

- $55,000/year We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Marketplace Operations Specialist to support the growth of a fast-paced e-commerce business within the pet products industry.
This role will play a key part in managing marketplace operations, inventory flow, shipment coordination, and reporting functions across major online platforms including Amazon and Walmart. The ideal candidate has experience supporting e-commerce operations, working with fulfillment platforms, and coordinating cross-functional logistics activities in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate communication between E-commerce, Operations, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams Create and manage shipments in Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center Generate and print outbound shipment labels Track and troubleshoot in-transit shipments to maintain inventory availability Maintain shipment databases and operational documentation Enter inventory transfers into ERP systems and monitor inventory movement accuracy Follow up on outstanding shipments and resolve open operational issues Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure shipment timelines are met Work with shipping partners to ensure timely pickups and deliveries Support inventory reconciliation and shortage resolution efforts Help improve operational workflows and communication processes across teams Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for direct-to-consumer marketplace orders Assist with weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reporting Support operational processes related to pet product inventory and marketplace fulfillment Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience supporting e-commerce operations, preferably with Amazon Seller Central 2+ years of logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience Experience managing LTL/FTL shipments Familiarity with Walmart Marketplace or Walmart Fulfillment Services preferred Strong understanding of online marketplace operations, particularly Amazon and Walmart Experience with inventory management and issue resolution Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 experience is a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proactive mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and tools Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have a clear background Preferred Experience Experience with warehouse operations and fulfillment workflows Familiarity with inventory reconciliation processes Experience supporting high-volume e-commerce environments Experience working with consumer goods or pet products is a plus Schedule & Work Environment Full-time Onsite position in Jamesburg, NJ Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm Benefits Competitive compensation Opportunity to work with a growing e-commerce operation in the pet products industry Collaborative and team-oriented environment Career growth potential within operations and supply chain
