Purchasing Expeditor

Purchasing support role responsible for order expediting, supplier follow-up, ERP/MRP record maintenance, delivery tracking, and invoice issue support. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, expediting, logistics, supply chain, or a related field Experience monitoring purchase orders from placement through final delivery Experience following up with suppliers on acknowledgments, lead times, shipment status, and delivery commitments Ability to maintain accurate purchasing records, order updates, schedule changes, and supplier communications Ability to identify supply delays or risks and communicate issues to internal stakeholders Experience supporting mitigation efforts for delivery issues, including expedited shipments Experience assisting with invoice follow-up and resolving blocked or delayed invoices Ability to prepare reports related to vendor performance, delivery status, and material logistics Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience working with ERP and/or MRP systems Ability to manage a high volume of transactional activities accurately and on time Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environment Familiarity with supplier management and order tracking processes Experience supporting invoicing or resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Vendor performance reporting Material logistics tracking Job Responsibilities Monitor active purchase orders from placement through final delivery to ensure alignment with committed delivery dates Follow up with suppliers on order acknowledgments, lead times, shipment status, and delivery commitments Maintain accurate records of purchasing activity, including order updates, schedule changes, and supplier communications Identify potential delays or supply risks and communicate issues to buyers, requestors, and other stakeholders Support mitigation efforts for delivery issues, including coordination of expedited shipments when required Notify buyers and internal requestors when supplier delivery dates will not meet required need dates Assist with invoice follow-up activities, including tracking and helping resolve blocked or delayed invoices Prepare routine and ad hoc reports related to vendor performance, delivery status, and material logistics Ensure purchasing information in ERP/MRP systems remains current, accurate, and complete Collaborate with purchasing, finance, production, logistics, and other internal teams

Pay:
