Henry & Sons, Inc, located in Eden, New York, is seeking an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Agricultural Operations Coordinator to join our wholesale produce and floral farming business. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily business operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, logistics coordination, sales order processing, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer savvy, bilingual in English and Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Logistics & Transportation:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of produce, floral products, and farm supplies. Schedule and communicate with trucking companies and drivers. Monitor delivery schedules and resolve transportation issues as they arise. Inspection of trucks prior to loading and departure from facility. Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and completed on time.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records for produce, floral products, packaging materials, and supplies. Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. Utilize ERP and inventory management systems to track product movement and availability.
Sales Order & Customer Support:
Support the sales team by entering orders, verifying product availability, and communicating delivery schedules. Coordinate order fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.
General Operations:
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demands. Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications Required Skills and Experience:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and business software applications. Experience with ERP, inventory management, or business management software. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in agriculture, produce distribution, floral operations, warehousing, logistics, or food supply chains. Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing, or transportation coordination. Familiarity with produce handling, food safety, or agricultural operations. Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
