West Hills Country Club is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our Culinary Team.
The Expeditor:
Is responsible for coordinating the timely and accurate delivery of all food orders from the kitchen to service staff. Ensures all food items meet quality, presentation, and portion standards before leaving the kitchen. Acts as the primary liaison between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams during service. Communicates effectively with chefs, cooks, servers, and management to ensure a seamless dining experience. Reviews tickets for accuracy and ensures all components of an order are complete before service. Assists with organizing and prioritizing food orders during high-volume restaurant and banquet operations. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service areas. Monitors ticket times and helps ensure efficient kitchen workflow. Assists in resolving service issues and communicates guest concerns promptly to management. Adheres to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Supports restaurant, banquet, and special event operations as needed.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as required by business needs. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure.
Preferred:
Previous experience as an Expeditor, Food Runner, Line Cook, or similar Back-of-House position. Experience working in a full-service restaurant, banquet facility, country club, or hospitality environment. Knowledge of food presentation standards and restaurant operations.
Pay:
