Job Description:
Responsibilities Minimum 2 years of Product Development experience in women's apparel required Team player with a collaborative mindset Create and maintain all clothing style numbers in the A2000 system (training provided) Create and maintain all production purchase orders in
A2000, WIP
reports, and delivery schedules with complete accuracy Track and manage all samples, PPs, TOPs, and production orders Communicate daily with vendors and factories regarding production status and sampling Manage all cross-functional communication within the Gretchen Scott organization regarding production timelines and delivery Resolve issues quickly while adhering to the Time and Action calendar and protecting the integrity of the design Negotiate with vendors to achieve pricing goals without compromising quality Escalate production or delivery challenges to the team as needed Support production team members with sample follow-up, cost analysis, quality control, labeling, and packaging Monitor workmanship, finishing details, materials, and fit to maintain the highest quality standards Maintain Excel production spreadsheets and input fit photos and comments Position is strictly in-house Requirements 1-3 years of production, product development, or planning experience in women's apparel Understanding of factory operations, garment construction, costing, and logistics Strong Excel skills Deep understanding of garment construction with the ability to provide detailed fit comments during fittings Exceptional attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive problem-solver with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High energy, accountability, and pride in your work Position is strictly in-house
