Fine Jewelry Quality Control and Production Specialist Nader Kash New York, NY Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $75,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Google Workspace Google Sheets GIA Certification Microscope proficiency Microscopic quality analysis Optical microscopy Productivity software Manufacturing company experience Technical Proficiency Stone setting Full Job Description Fine Jewelry Quality Control & Production Specialist Fine Jewelry Quality Control & Production Specialist is responsible for assisting in the production of fine jewelry through approved production, with a strong focus on design translation, technical execution, and longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Quality Oversight Ensure quality standards established during development are maintained in production Support escalation and resolution of complex production or quality issues Review production performance metrics and approve corrective actions Ensure alignment between product development decisions and production realities Ability to discover damaged stones Recognize manufacturer defects Create purchase memos for new orders and components Create new shipments for orders being distributed to manufacturing Track incoming shipments and prioritize workload Requirements 5+ years of fine jewelry manufacturing and quality assurance experience Deep expertise in fine jewelry construction, materials, and stone setting Proven experience using loop or microscope Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel and google sheets Exceptional technical judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skills GIA GG or Graduate Diamonds a plus
Hours and Benefits:
Monday - Friday, 9:30am-6pm 10 days PTO Select Religious and Federal Holidays as PTO 401(k) with match This company does not offer health insurance benefits but is open to negotiating a healthcare stipend.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
