SUMMARY The Senior Media Operations Specialist (SMOS) has consistently demonstrated a level of accuracy and autonomy through their experience or tenure. Persons in this role have mastered all functionality of trafficking, Q/A, stewardship and have proactively influenced operational improvements. A SMOS has demonstrated impact via standard and error-free outputs, autonomous decision-making at critical junctures, accountability and deep platform subject matter expertise. In this role, the SMOS is the first point of contact for all creative and trafficking needs on unique accounts.
KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Outcome :
Best-in-class onboarding into the Media Operations Specialist role
Key Responsibilities:
Through an established workflow, published SOPs, and best-in-class tools, technology, and resources, the SMOS is accountable for onboarding employees into the Media Operations Specialist role In conjunction with the Manager, Ad Operations, the Senior Media Operations Specialist is responsible for setting the systems and infrastructure for accurate deployment of client creative assets, ensuring materials are delivered precisely, timely and to the exact specifications as outlined in contractual agreements with stakeholders - internal and external Following predetermined evaluation periods, the SMOS will assess all onboarding documentation and make necessary updates to ensure alignment with current processes

Key Responsibilities :
With an eye on standardization, quality, automation and continuous improvement, the SMOS will be responsible for continuous review and optimization of processes. Accountable for process improvements through the lens of digital transformation, SMOS will provide ongoing training and support for the media operations specialist team. Ensure that all campaign elements, such as creative assets, dynamic elements, and tracking codes, are correctly implemented and delivered to the channel teams.

Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate clear and effective communication between account service, integrated planning, channel and media operations to ensure alignment on campaign creative, timelines, and deliverables. Act as the first point of contact for resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the campaign lifecycle, coordinating with all teams to find solutions. Provide training and support to internal teams on media operations processes and tools, ensuring they have the knowledge needed to manage client expectations effectively. Foster a collaborative environment between teams, encouraging open communication and teamwork to achieve common goals.

Agency-wide Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO)
Expertise Key Responsibilities :
Manage and execute Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) campaigns across platforms (e.g., CM360, DV360, Meta, etc.), ensuring accurate setup, trafficking, and delivery. Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, and Analytics teams to translate campaign objectives into dynamic creative frameworks, including audience segmentation, messaging variants, and feed logic. Oversee creative feed onboarding, QA, and ongoing validation, ensuring data integrity and alignment with creative logic. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to feed ingestion, creative rendering, and dynamic logic application in partnership with internal teams and external vendors. Conduct thorough QA of dynamic creatives, including scenario-based validation (audience, geography, device, etc.) to confirm correct variant delivery. Partner with vendors to implement advanced DCO use cases, including real-time triggers and personalization strategies. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for DCO within Media Operations, contributing to best practices, SOP development, and training. Identify opportunities to scale DCO adoption across clients and improve campaign performance through personalization. Contribute to process standardization and automation for dynamic creative workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field 4+ years of experience in related fields; Media, Analytics and/or Operations preferred Computer literacy to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be detail oriented, multi-task and possess strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Intermediate or higher familiarity with ad serving platforms (GCM360) Experience working with structured data feeds, including validation, transformation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with dynamic ad serving workflows within platforms like Campaign Manager 360 and rich media/DCO tools. Strong QA mindset with ability to validate complex creative permutations at scale. Ability to interpret and apply naming conventions, taxonomies, and feed schemas to ensure consistency across campaigns.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High exposure to ad campaign management; ad trafficking, campaign setup, and monitoring Experience executing personalized or localized campaigns at scale (e.g., geo-targeted messaging, local-level creative, product-driven ads). Exposure to feed-based creative automation tools (e.g., Smartly.io, Google Studio, Celtra, Flashtalking, Jivox, AdForm). Understanding of data signals used in DCO, including first-party audience data, behavioral triggers, and contextual inputs. Ability to partner cross-functionally to evolve DCO strategies and improve operational efficiency.

COMPENSATION
Butler/Till is committed to providing pay transparency of our compensation philosophy and ensuring equitable pay practices for our employee owners. The compensation range for this position is $48,000- $78,000 and represents the annual salary range in Rochester, NY. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. This is just one component of Butler/Till's total compensation package for employee owners. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including ESOP (employee stock ownership plan), an annual bonus, in addition to a full benefits package, and paid time off benefits, including 100% paid parental leave. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
