Patient Access Scheduler

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly reliable and tenured professionals for a remote contract-to-hire opening. As the first point of contact in the patient care journey, you will handle back-to-back inbound and outbound calls, gather demographic information, and schedule medical appointments. This role requires a focus on efficiency, quality, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls routed automatically through the system. Gather patient demographic information, pre-register insurance coverage, and schedule patients for medical appointments Supporting both hospital and outpatient teams. Educate patients on self-service options and provide clear answers to inquiries. Maintain a 97% or higher quality score.

Meet performance metrics:

Average of 55 calls per day with a 6.5-minute average handle time. Participate in mandatory daily on-camera team huddles and meetings.
