Scheduling Office Coordinator University Hospitals - 3.8 Cleveland, OH Job Details $18.12 - $28.35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Spreadsheets Copy machines High school diploma or GED Fax machines Conflict management Faxing Full Job Description A Brief Overview Plans and coordinates the daily RN, Sitter, PCNA, and Secretary scheduling process for the inpatient units, Emergency Room and Float Pool to meet Staffing needs throughout the Hospital. What You Will Do Maintains productive and ongoing communication with employees and Nurse Mangers to ensure accurate understanding of departmental staffing needs and schedules. Communicate with staff all pertinent information concerning department and employees in regards to scheduling, and procedures and any other matters concerning the needs of the Hospital. Fill each open shift accurately with a positive effort. Maintain organized/accurate documentation and reports to ensure appropriate tracking of all scheduling. Maintains and performs timekeeping and scheduling for all inpatient units and Float Pool employees. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Education High School Equivalent / GED (Required) and Associate's Degree (Preferred) Work Experience 3+ years of experience in a professional office setting, medical office or healthcare environment (Required) and Previous Scheduling and Placement experience (Preferred) and Supervisory experience (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency) Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict mgt (Required proficiency) Excellent organizational skills. (Required proficiency) Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. (Required proficiency) Strong attention to detail. (Required proficiency) Must have the ability to handle high volume workload and meet deadlines. (Required proficiency) Must have the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment. (Required proficiency) Accuracy is essential for production and quality control. (Required proficiency) Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
