Central Scheduling Authorization Specialist

We're currently seeking a dedicated Authorization Specialist to join our Centralized Scheduling Department at our Crestline location . Position Overview Contacts payers to request service authorization. Collects financial and/or demographic information from patients and clinical information from patient charts, orders, or providers.

Qualifications Required:

Previous customer service experience At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting performing related tasks Familiarity with healthcare insurance processes

Preferred:

Associate degree in healthcare or business administration and/or related coursework Successful completion of courses in medical terminology and human anatomy Experience with EPIC information systems Why Join the Avita Health System Team?
