Creative Operations Assistant

Thrifty Hippie is a curated artist collective featuring over 90 local vendors, handmade goods, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind pieces. We are not a typical retail store - we are a creative, fast-moving environment that values originality, integrity, and a very strong work ethic.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive individual who can move seamlessly between store operations, administrative tasks, and occasional personal assistant duties. This roll is ideal for someone who can think independently, handle responsibility without constant direction, and thrives in a creative but structured environment.

WHAT YOU WILL

Store Support

• Assist customers in a warm, engaging, and knowledgeable way
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
• Support vendor needs and uphold store standards
• Monitor for loss prevention and maintain awareness on the floor

OFFICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

• Organize paperwork, receipts, and vendor -related documents
• Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, and basic reporting
• Help coordinate vendor communication and processes
• Support hiring, onboarding, or internal projects as needed

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Identify areas for improvement and help implement solutions
• Assist with inventory organization and store flow
• Help maintain structure in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TASKS

(AS NEEDED)

• Run occasional errands or handle time-sensitive tasks
• Assist with scheduling, reminders, or priority organization
• Provide general support to ownership when needed

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities
• Comfortable taking initiative without waiting to be told what to do
• Friendly, professional, and confident with customers
• Appreciation for handmade goods, art, and creative environments

• Need constant direction or supervision
• Prefer repetaitve, low-responsibility tasks only
• Struggle with organization or time managment
• Are not comfortable being flexible day to day
