Job Description

Overview American Paint Recyclers is seeking a hands-on, dependable Floor Manager to oversee daily production operations in our paint recycling facility. The company currently operates with approximately 23 employees and is actively expanding second-shift production. This role will play a key part in supporting growth, improving workflow, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside the team while also providing strong leadership, structure, and accountability across both shifts. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production employees Oversee daily production flow, scheduling, and workflow priorities Support expansion and development Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed Train, coach, and support team members Monitor inventory, materials, and production supplies Assign tasks and monitor workflow to meet production goals and deadlines Communicate with management regarding production performance and issues Conduct shift inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment Troubleshoot minor equipment or operational issues and escalate major concerns Complete production reports and shift logs Participate in weekly and monthly operations meetings Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior supervisory or production leadership experience preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to work hands-on Ability to operate forklifts or industrial equipment preferred Ability to manage multiple employees and shift coordination Basic understanding of production processes and safety practices Strong communication and leadership skills Problem-solving mindset and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment with varying temperatures Preferred Traits Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Safety-minded Team-oriented leader with a hands-on approach Willingness to learn paint recycling and processing operations Compensation & Benefits $40,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience Performance-based bonus potential Full-time opportunity with growth potential Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Stable and growing company environment On-the-job training provided Schedule Full-time, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM. Occasional extended hours up to 5:00 PM may be required, with potential involvement in second shift operations as production expands.
