The Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is recruiting for professionals who are interested in a rewarding career as a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator III. This position works in the Bureau's Operations & Maintenance Group (O&MG), Maintenance Reliability and Asset Management and supports and manages a group of Coordinators II that focus on supporting field technicians through asset management practices including asset creation, maintenance management strategy creation and optimization as well as Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). The Coordinator III is responsible for supervision and effective management of 6 Coordinators IIs while also performing critical support for the ongoing capital project, maintenance management system changeout project as well as mapping and maintaining existing workflow processes. This position is responsible for oversight and management of asset data as well as development of workflow procedures and supporting tools. What y ou'll get to do: Provide leadership, supervision & employee development through effective work planning management and clear performance direction. Establish workgroup performance expectations and regularly monitor team progress to create a high performing, equitable, service-oriented work environment. Manage Maintenance Planning and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Work (Synergen & Infor) to provide expertise and hands on work order support to team members and other stakeholders. Lead work in creating/retiring assets, preparing maintenance procedures, planning, and scheduling the activities and work orders, creating specifications and bill of materials, and ensuring that the maintenance management system is an accurate repository of facilities characteristics. Lead implementation of transition of CMMS from Synergen to Infor. Establish and refine existing programmatic goals through development and maintenance of workflow processes, SharePoint site, policies, procedures, and supporting documentation for effective program implementation including QA/QC of critical data. Lead Capital Improvement Project coordination through collaboration with Engineering team for effective transition of assets from project construction/startup to operation and maintenance. Develop processes that enable integration of asset management data into GIS. Lead refinement of the documentation procedure within the City's Record Management system (HP Content Manager) and procedures for utilizing this in conjunction with the CMMS. Attend weekly safety committee meetings and ensure the City's safety program continues to grow and safe working environments and proper documentation are created and attached in the Synergen. Callout Coordinator duties. This is a weeklong assignment to field after hours mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical calls from operations, make critical decisions with high consequence of failure, and dispatch the appropriate technicians to resolve issue at the treatment plants and pump stations. Work during typical office hours includes facilitating the daily 8 am O&M Group meeting, reviewing callouts with other work groups, tracking issues, and attending monthly call-out coordinator meetings to discuss and resolve issues.
