We serve:
Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics and Commercial Customers. We are Technology Driven incorporating the latest CNC, measuring and robotic machine loading and inspection equipment. Our Cloud-Based, On-The-Clock, training is for the improvement of all employees and our in-house software developers continually improve the flow of information we need to do our daily jobs Major Duties and Responsibilities Identifies raw material shortages on the manufacturing production floor and take the necessary steps to replenish the required materials in a timely manner. Performs material movements throughout the day, ensuring delivery between warehouse and internal production areas are made in a timely fashion utilizing manual carts and or motorized equipment. Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform the duties of the job. Accurately complete all applicable departmental documentation pertaining to daily tasks Maintains a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following current warehouse safety rules, and departmental operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area by breaking down cardboard, picking up loose trash or boards, and keeping warehouse clean. Reports any unusual circumstances to immediate supervisor and performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Operate all customer / company equipment in accordance with accepted customer / company practices. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multiple priority environment. Complete special projects, duties, or assignments appropriately. Desired Skills and Experience Must possess solid analytical skills in forecasting and anticipating production needs and capacities. Ability to solve or identify practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress. Computer literacy applied to scheduling and data management. . I.e. basic Excel skills or using an MRP/ERP system. Strong interpersonal, prioritization, and coordination skills. All work performed in an office and production settings. Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities. Education and Qualifications High School degree and ideally, 1-2 years of experience in a production planning/materials control function or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical requirements and job conditions:
Able to lift 50lbs unassisted from ground level Must be physically fit enough to move floor care equipment between 2 buildings Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, climb and walk about the facilities. This position requires a higher than average amount of standing and walking while performing floor care Exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, dust, odors and the outdoors Exposure to floor care chemicals and various floor care equipment Job Conditions and Requirements Work performed in office and factory settings. Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust, chemical and weather. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend reach, and move about facilities.
