We are currently seeking a Title Operations Specialist / Title Processor to support the title and settlement process for a leading settlement services organization in Coraopolis, PA. Position Summary The Title Operations Specialist supports the title and settlement process by reviewing title-related documentation, entering and verifying information, clearing routine title requirements, and ensuring files are accurate and complete as they move toward closing. This is a processing-focused opportunity for someone with experience in title, mortgage, real estate, settlement services, or a similar high-volume processing environment . The ideal candidate understands the basic title process and is comfortable reviewing documents, managing multiple files, and working across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities Process residential title and settlement files from order entry through completion. Review title commitments, property information, tax information, deeds, mortgages, liens, and other title-related documents. Enter and update information accurately within the company's title production system. Review files for missing documentation, discrepancies, and outstanding requirements. Assist with clearing routine title requirements and curative items. Order and track documents and information needed to complete title files. Communicate with internal departments, title examiners, closers, lenders, vendors, and other parties regarding file status. Follow up on outstanding items to keep files moving toward closing. Verify names, legal descriptions, property information, vesting, and other key information for accuracy. Maintain organized electronic files and detailed notes regarding work completed and outstanding items. Meet established turnaround times and production expectations. Follow company procedures and applicable title and settlement guidelines. Escalate complex title issues to senior team members or title examiners when necessary. Qualifications 1+ year of title, mortgage, settlement, real estate processing, or related experience preferred. Previous experience as a Title Processor, Title Assistant, Escrow Assistant, Title Operations Specialist, Closing Processor, or Mortgage Processor is highly transferable. Basic understanding of title commitments and common title documents preferred. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Ability to work in multiple systems and learn new technology quickly. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has worked around title files and understands the title and closing process but does not necessarily have the experience required to independently examine title . Candidates with backgrounds as a Title Processor, Title Assistant, Escrow Assistant, Closing Assistant, Mortgage Processor, Post-Closing Specialist, or Title Customer Service Representative may be a strong fit for this opportunity. What We Are NOT Looking For This is not a senior Title Examiner position . The role is focused on processing, document review, data accuracy, following up on requirements, and moving title files through the workflow rather than independently examining complex chains of title or making underwriting decisions.
