Surgery Scheduler Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30

PM Setting:

Doylestown PA Pay:

$21/hr Overview We are seeking a Surgery Scheduler to support front‑office and scheduling operations. This role involves coordinating procedures, managing multi‑line phones, assisting patients, and ensuring accurate documentation. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients; verify and update insurance and demographic information Manage multiple phone lines professionally Schedule surgical procedures; complete prior authorizations, request referrals, and obtain pre‑certifications Provide patients with preparation instructions and procedure‑day details Maintain accurate records and support daily office workflow Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma Minimum 6 months of relevant experience Experience in a community health center preferred Knowledge of EMR systems (NextGen preferred) Familiarity with medical terminology Strong customer service and phone communication skills Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure #allied2misc
