Nurse Scheduler

Our client is searching for a Nurse Scheduler - Staffing Coordinator. $19 to $24 per hour.

Full-Time:

7am to 3:30pm. Responsibilities of the role consist of:

• Manage the master schedule and monthly scheduling to ensure all units and shifts are staffed by using the computerized scheduling system.
• Enroll all agency staff into the time clock.
• Forecast and manage schedule for PTO, holidays, FMLA and personal leave requests to ensure effective nursing staff coverage.
• Generate daily and weekly reports to track department's staffing.
• Maintain regular contact with Administration, Human Resources and payroll staff regarding employee related matters.
• Participate with policy updates, employee performance paperwork, education, and ancillary resident service vendors.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of Scheduling experience in a health care setting.
• Working experience with scheduling (preferably Workforce Dimensions) and payroll software.
• Working experience with MS Office suite, including strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work various shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
