Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. The Scheduling Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our agency by efficiently managing and coordinating the schedules of our caregivers and clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the schedules of caregivers and clients, ensuring optimal coverage and client satisfaction. Match caregivers with clients based on their skills, availability, and client preferences. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver availability, client preferences, and schedule changes. Communicate with caregivers and clients to confirm shifts, address scheduling conflicts, and provide necessary updates. Collaborate with the care management team to ensure that client care plans are accurately reflected in the schedules. Monitor and address any scheduling issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Assist in the recruitment and on-boarding process of new caregivers. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and caregivers, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality of all client and caregiver information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field Proven experience in scheduling or coordination roles, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining schedules and records. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant computer applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
